…Boy. (We think!)

Yesterday, we went for our 18-20 week scan to check on the progress of the baby. After all the routine checks we asked if the sonographer could tell what the sex of the baby was.

The sonographer spent a little time trying to see, as the baby was not playing ball, crossing its legs generally not being helpful. I hope its not a sign of things to come. After a few attempts, she finally found a view that she was happy with to see. And there it was, sitting there between the legs, evidence that it is almost certainly a boy. The sonographer said that she couldn’t be 100% sure that it was a boy, but she was as sure as she could be.

Before anyone goes rushing out to buy something blue, we’ve got another scan at 32 weeks to check on baby’s progress, so we should get a more definite picture of whether the sonographer was right first time.
